Does skyrizi cause cancer?

I've been on Skyrizi for my condition for about a year now, and someone mentioned something worrying about biologics. I'm quite anxious about this. Is there any link between taking Skyrizi and an increased risk of cancer?

Please don't panic reading everything on the internet, it only increases our stress. These biological medicines go through massive clinical trials before coming to the market. Yes, there are some warnings about immune system risks, but your dermatologist is the best judge of your safety. Just discuss your family history clearly with them before starting.

I had the exact same anxiety when my doctor suggested Skyrizi for my plaque psoriasis. I actually sat with my specialist and asked this directly. They explained that while any immunosuppressant has warnings, the actual risk is extremely small in real life. I have been on it for a year now and my skin is completely clear, touchwood.

I agree with everyone saying there is no need to assume the worst. Honestly, just ask your doctor for the official patient information leaflet so you can read the actual facts instead of online rumors.

While your doctor manages the Skyrizi dosage, focus on keeping your immunity strong naturally through your diet. Eating fresh, antioxidant-rich green veggies, seasonal fruits, and avoiding processed foods helps the body handle heavy treatments better. Never skip your regular doctor visits though.

Beta, modern medicines have strong power, so always talk to your specialist about long-term side effects. While taking such heavy treatments, it is also good to keep your body clean from inside. Have light food, drink warm water with a bit of ginger, and don't take any medicine without proper tests. Take care of your health first.

Haan na, internet search kar ke hum log faltu mein darr jaate hain. When my doctor suggested this, even I was shocked reading all the warnings online. But actually, these severe side effects are very rare, doc told me not to worry. Trust your skin specialist, they know your health history perfectly.

As someone managing thyroid for ten years, I learned that with any big medication, regular monitoring is the key. You should ask your doctor what blood tests you need while on Skyrizi. Keeping a regular checkup schedule will keep your mind at peace and catch any issues early.
