Does skin cancer itch?

I have this persistent itchy spot on my arm that just won't go away, even with cream. My friend suggested I check about skin cancer. Does skin cancer generally make the skin itchy?

Oh god, I always overthink every single scratch and itch on my body, so I totally understand your worry. Yes, apparently some types can itch, but it could also just be dry weather or mild eczema. Please don't panic like I do, just get a doctor's opinion to be safe!

I totally get it, worrying about skin spots can make you feel so anxious and restless. Yes, skin cancer can sometimes itch, but so can a hundred other harmless things. Please take care of yourself and let a dermatologist take a look so you can feel relieved.

Our bodies sometimes show signs to tell us to pay attention, and itching can be one of them. Stay positive and do not let fear take over your mind. Consult a good doctor, take proper care, and trust that everything will be fine.

Itching can happen due to sweat, soap allergy, or simple heat rash. But if you have a specific mole or spot that keeps itching, don't waste time on expensive home remedies. Just visit a government hospital or local skin specialist for a quick, affordable checkup.

Bro, I get random itchy spots all the time and instantly think the worst after searching on TikTok or Google. While skin cancer can itch, most of the time it is just dry skin or some allergy. Just get it checked by a doctor so you can stop stressing.

When my doctor told me my itchy patch was basal cell carcinoma, my world fell apart and I cried for days. Yes, it can absolutely itch, and the emotional toll of waiting for answers is so hard. Please go get it checked, taking action is the only thing that helps the fear.
