Does singulair help with asthma?

My asthma has been giving me a tough time lately, and my doctor suggested Singulair. Has anyone here used it, and does Singulair really help with asthma symptoms?

I know how terrifying it feels when you can't breathe properly, the anxiety is just horrible. Singulair really helped control my chronic asthma attacks and gave me my life back. It takes a little time to work, so please hang in there and trust the process.

Yes, Singulair (montelukast) is a very common and effective preventive medication for asthma. It works by blocking chemicals that cause airway swelling. Just take it regularly as prescribed, and don't worry, you are in safe hands. Just make sure to consult your doctor for the right dose.

My doctor just prescribed Singulair for my sudden wheezing issues yesterday. I am a bit nervous to start it. Does it really help with the chest tightness quickly, or does it take a few weeks to show any real difference?

It absolutely helped me keep my asthma in check so I can enjoy my spicy street food without coughing my lungs out! It's basically a daily controller pill, not a rescue inhaler. Talk to your doc, it's a solid medication for keeping symptoms away.

I have been dealing with asthma for over thirty years now. In my experience, medications like Singulair have made managing the condition much easier compared to the old days. Just follow your doctor's advice and you will lead a perfectly normal, active life.

Yes, it helps control exercise-induced asthma quite well. I used to get out of breath very quickly during workouts, but keeping up with my prescribed Singulair made a huge difference. Definitely discuss it with your physician to see if it fits your routine.

While many people say Singulair works wonders, asthma triggers are very specific to each person. Don't go by online reviews or what worked for others. Go to a qualified pulmonologist, get your lung function tested, and let them decide the right treatment plan.
