Does semaglutide affect the liver?

My doctor has recommended semaglutide for my diabetes management. I'm concerned about potential side effects, especially regarding my liver. Does semaglutide have any impact on liver function?

Actually, it is more likely to make your liver happy by helping you lose liver fat! Unless you are planning to treat it like a party drug, your liver is quite safe. Just keep your doctor in the loop.

I am thoda new to these modern weight loss treatments and feel a bit scared of side effects. Does semaglutide require us to get liver function tests done regularly before starting it?

It actually helps improve fatty liver disease in many patients because of the weight loss. However, you absolutely must get a proper prescription and blood work done instead of buying it online. Don't take shortcuts with these medications.

I am too busy trying to survive on 5 hours of sleep to worry about liver fat, but my doctor did mention semaglutide is generally safe for the liver. Still, better to ask a real doc than trusting sleepy people like me on the internet!

I always prefer natural herbs for liver health, but some modern medical conditions need proper drugs. Semaglutide is known to reduce liver enzymes in people with fatty liver, but please don't take it without consulting a specialist first.

I was incredibly anxious about this when my doctor suggested it for my insulin resistance. I read so many scary articles online, but my liver tests actually came out completely normal after three months. Just stay in touch with your doctor to ease your mind.
