Does saccharin cause cancer?

My mother has diabetes, and she often uses saccharin as a sugar substitute in her tea. I recently read some older articles online mentioning a link between saccharin and cancer. Is it safe to use, or does it still pose a cancer risk?

Actually, those old studies linking saccharin to cancer were done on rats in very high doses, yaar. Most health organizations have cleared it for human consumption now. But still, why take chemical sweeteners when you can just reduce normal sugar?

Look, excess of anything chemical is bad for your body. Saccharin is legally allowed and deemed safe in normal amounts, but don't overuse it daily in everything. Keep your food natural and you won't have to worry about these scary headlines.

In the corporate world, we use sweeteners constantly. Scientific consensus currently states that saccharin does not cause cancer in humans when consumed in moderate quantities. If you are very concerned, you can switch to stevia as a modern alternative.

I always believe in staying close to nature, so using natural jaggery or honey in small amounts is much better than these artificial chemical powders. However, if you are having any serious digestive issues or unexplained symptoms, please get a checkup done by a doctor.

Hey, don't stress too much about this! The rumors about saccharin and cancer are mostly outdated and science has proved it is safe in normal amounts. Just don't go overboard with diet sodas and you are totally fine!

In our town, we don't use these artificial sweeteners at all. Plain old mishri or a little bit of gud is much better for health and has been used for generations. It is always better to eat simple ghar ka khana.

When I visited my doctor at Apollo, we discussed diet foods. He clarified that global health bodies have removed saccharin from the list of carcinogens. However, if you have specific metabolic conditions, ask your own doctor clearly to guide you on safe sugar substitutes.
