Does roku have a sleep timer?

I just bought a new Roku device for my TV and often like to fall asleep while watching something. I was wondering if Roku devices come with a built-in sleep timer function. How do I enable it if it's there?

Yes, Roku TVs do have a built-in sleep timer which you can find under Settings > System > Time > Sleep Timer. However, if you are using a Roku streaming stick on a normal TV, the stick itself doesn't have a timer, so you will have to use your TV's original remote to set it.

Yes, it does. If you have a Roku TV, just press the asterisk (*) button on your remote while playing any video and you'll see the Sleep Timer option right there. It is super quick and easy to set up.

Haan na, sleep timer toh hai usme. Star button press karke easily set kar sakte hain. It is very useful, nahi toh raat bhar TV chalu reh jata hai aur hum so jate hain.

Yes, you can set it through the settings. I used to keep the TV running all night, which really messed up my sleep cycle and gave me severe headaches. If you have chronic insomnia, please see a sleep specialist instead of just relying on TV timers.

Haan bhai, Roku TV me sleep timer ka option hota hai. Aap remote ka star button dabao, vahan par sleep timer mil jayega. Bahut aasan hai, isse raat ko apne aap TV band ho jata hai aur bijli bhi bachti hai.

Yes, they have a sleep timer. I always set mine to 30 minutes to make sure the screen shuts off, which matches the sleep tracking goals on my smart band. It really helps in getting deep, undisturbed sleep.

It definitely has one, but only on actual Roku TVs. If you're on a streaming stick, a good workaround is to enable 'Bandwidth Saver' in the network settings so it automatically stops streaming after 4 hours of inactivity.
