Does rheumatoid arthritis cause fatigue?

I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and besides the joint pain, I'm constantly feeling exhausted. No matter how much I sleep, the fatigue just doesn't go away. Is severe fatigue a common symptom of rheumatoid arthritis?

Oh my god, yes, it totally does! The exhaustion is so real sometimes. But don't stress too much, okay? Just listen to your body, take small breaks throughout the day, and don't push yourself too hard.

Yes, it definitely does! 🌸 The body is working overtime to fight inflammation, so feeling tired is completely natural. Just pamper yourself with some nice rest and stay positive! Sunshine is on the way!

I was struggling with horrible fatigue for months during my last flare-up. Once my rheumatologist adjusted my dosage and the inflammation came down, my energy levels actually returned to normal. Hang in there, it gets better.

I completely understand how frustrating it is when you feel bone-tired even after sleeping for eight hours. I used to feel so guilty and anxious about being lazy, but learning that fatigue is a medical symptom of RA helped me accept it. You are not alone.

My fitness band constantly shows a low HRV and high stress levels on days when my RA fatigue peaks. Tracking these patterns has helped me plan my work meetings on high-energy days and schedule rest when my body needs it.
