Does removing ovaries help pcos?

I've been battling PCOS for years now, and it's really affecting my life, especially fertility. My friend suggested that removing ovaries might be a solution for some extreme cases. I'm wondering if removing ovaries actually helps with PCOS symptoms.

I just went through a major consultation for severe PCOS and endometriosis. Removing ovaries is not a simple cure for PCOS because it is actually an endocrine, metabolic issue, not just an ovarian one. Please talk to an expert gynecologist because removing them triggers instant surgical menopause, which has its own big challenges.

In our days, we didn't have such surgeries so easily. PCOS is a disease of lifestyle and hormonal imbalance, so taking out the organs will not fix the root cause, beta. Try to eat fresh food, drink spearmint tea which helps some girls, and consult a wise doctor before thinking of such operations.

I made the mistake of ignoring my irregular periods and cyst pain for years, thinking it was normal, and ended up with severe complications. Please don't take any decision about surgeries or think of extreme steps without multiple doctor opinions. Get a thorough checkup done immediately to see what is really going on.

Listen, don't jump to such extreme thoughts out of frustration with PCOS, okay? Removing ovaries is a huge step and it doesn't actually cure the underlying metabolic issue of PCOS anyway. Let us take a deep breath and find a really good endocrinologist who can help you manage this calmly.

PCOS is deeply connected to our lifestyle and stress levels, and surgery is rarely the first answer. I managed my severe PCOS symptoms through regular practice of butterfly pose, cobra pose, and deep pranayama. Give your body a chance to balance its hormones naturally before considering something as drastic as removing ovaries.
