Does remeron help with sleep?

I've been having a really tough time sleeping lately, and my doctor gave me Remeron. He mentioned it might help with sleep, but I'm not sure what to expect. Does Remeron generally help people sleep better?

My cousin also had severe insomnia and his family was suggesting some herbal teas and warm milk at night. But when we took him to the specialist, they prescribed this medication and it worked beautifully for him. Please trust what your doctor says, sleep is very important.

It helps with sleep, but be careful because it can make you very hungry, especially for sweet things. As a diabetic, I had to be extremely careful with my late-night cravings when I was on similar medication. Watch your diet and keep checking your sugar levels regularly.

Oh it absolutely knocks you out, trust me! Don't stress too much about your sleeplessness right now, this medicine is quite famous for fixing sleep cycles. Just take it exactly when your doctor told you to, and you will be waking up fresh.

Haan, sleep gets very good with this tablet. My neighbor's son was taking it when he was very stressed about his job and he used to sleep peacefully all night. Do not take it on your own though, ask a proper doctor first, beta.

It definitely helps with sleep, but keep an eye on your monthly medical budget. If you are starting this, ask your doctor for generic options because brand names can get quite expensive over time. Also, plan for the consultation fees every month because you will need regular follow-ups to adjust the dose.
