Does receipt paper cause cancer?

At my shop, I handle a lot of receipt paper every day when processing transactions for customers. My colleague mentioned that the chemicals on it might cause cancer if you touch them too much. Is there any truth to this? Does receipt paper actually cause cancer?

Don't worry too much! 🌟 While receipt papers have a chemical coating like BPA, you'd have to handle thousands of them daily for it to pose a real risk. Just wash your hands after shopping! 👍

Arey, nowadays even standing under the sun supposedly causes cancer. Unless you are eating the bills instead of paying them, you are perfectly fine. Don't stress about these tiny things.

I completely understand how overwhelming these health anxieties can be, as I used to scrub my hands raw after touching receipts. It is exhausting to worry about cancer at every step. Please take a deep breath; the actual risk is extremely low.

Humare yahan toh sab hath se hi bill banaate hain, par sheher mein yeh thermal paper chalte hain. Isme thoda chemical hota hai bolte hain, toh bas hath dho liya karo bill chhune ke baad. Darna bilkul nahi hai.

A simple solution is to just ask for digital receipts on your phone whenever you shop. It saves paper, doesn't clutter your bag, and you don't have to worry about touching any chemical coatings.

I have spent 40 years handling paper bills in my shop and am doing perfectly fine at 71. The human body is much stronger than these internet articles claim. Live peacefully and don't let these modern scares ruin your day.

This is just sensationalized news. Thermal paper does contain BPA, but the trace amounts absorbed through skin contact are negligible. There is absolutely no need to panic about handling grocery bills.
