H. pylori is a very common stomach infection that can cause ulcers, and yes, if left untreated for many years, it can increase the risk of stomach cancer. But please don't panic, it is easily treatable with a simple course of antibiotics. Just consult a doctor for a breath or stool test.

Haan, is infection se risk toh thoda badhta hai na, par iska matlab ye nahi ki sabko cancer ho jayega. Millions of people have this bacteria without even knowing. Agar stomach pain ya acidity rehti hai, toh doctor se milkar test karwa lo.

Any chronic infection in the body can create inflammation and lead to complications. Just like managing thyroid, dealing with gut issues requires proper medical tests and regular follow-ups. Don't ignore persistent bloating or pain, get a proper checkup.

H. pylori is classified as a class 1 carcinogen, but only a very small percentage of infected people ever develop severe issues. I keep track of my gut health and symptoms, and getting a timely urea breath test is the smartest way to catch and treat it early.

My mother always tells me to drink buttermilk for any stomach heat, but when my acidity was constant, my doctor advised an H. pylori test. He reassured me that while it has a link to cancer, treating it early with antibiotics completely removes the risk. Trust your gastroenterologist on this.
