Does pt help arthritis?

My joints are stiff and painful due to arthritis, especially my knees. The doctor suggested I try physical therapy. Does PT (physiotherapy) really help in managing arthritis pain and improving mobility?

I am planning to start physical therapy for my knee pain soon. Is it very painful to do the exercises in the beginning?

It is completely normal to feel anxious about moving your painful joints. But physical therapy actually helps strengthen the muscles around them, which reduces the overall pressure. Just take it slow.

Yes, PT helped my mom a lot with her knee arthritis. The therapist taught her simple exercises that she can easily do at home now, and her stiffness has reduced so much.

Physical therapy helps restore the natural flow of movement in your joints. Stay positive, keep practicing the exercises with patience, and your body will slowly find its balance and comfort again.

Yes, physical therapy is highly recommended for arthritis. It helps improve joint range of motion and strengthens surrounding muscles. Just ensure you go to a certified physiotherapist who understands your specific condition.
