Does psoriatic arthritis cause fatigue?

Living with psoriatic arthritis has been tough, and recently, I've noticed an overwhelming sense of fatigue that doesn't go away. Even after resting, I feel drained. Does psoriatic arthritis commonly cause such intense fatigue?

Yes, the fatigue is absolutely real and can be worse than the joint pain. I manage it by taking my meds on time, getting 8 hours of sleep, and strictly avoiding processed foods.

Fatigue toh bohot hoti hai, ho na. Kuch kaam karne ka mann nahi karta aur body humesha thaki rehti hai. Thoda aaram zyaada kiya karo aise dino mein.

I totally get it, the bone-deep tiredness is so hard to explain to others. It's not just normal sleepiness, it's extreme fatigue from the inflammation. Please be gentle with yourself.

My rheumatologist at Manipal Hospital explained that systemic inflammation burns a lot of energy, causing severe fatigue. You should ask your doctor clearly about this so they can adjust your disease-modifying drugs.

Yes, chronic inflammation causes fatigue. Since I have diabetes too, I have to be doubly careful because fluctuating sugars also drain energy. Keeping a clean, low-glycemic diet helps reduce the load.

Oh absolutely! It makes me feel like a 90-year-old battery that won't charge past 10%. Just remember it is the condition talking, so don't beat yourself up for needing extra naps.
