Does protein powder cause cancer?

Regularly using protein powder after my gym sessions, I found my mum saw something online saying protein powders can cause cancer. She's very concerned now. Is there any truth to this claim about protein powder and cancer?

There is no scientific proof of this. Just buy certified, lab-tested brands to avoid heavy metal contamination.

I used protein powder for years before my cancer diagnosis, and my oncologist clearly told me there is no link between the two. The cancer was genetic, not due to my supplements.

Managing my PCOS made me very careful about what I consume. While protein powder doesn't cause cancer, some cheap brands have hidden steroids or high sugar which can mess with your hormones. Choose wisely.

Actually yaar, this is just a WhatsApp rumor. Good quality whey is just made from milk, so how can it cause cancer? Just don't buy fake duplicate powders from random local shops.

I drink my protein shake at 2 AM because of night shifts, and honestly, my lack of sleep will probably get me before my protein powder does. It is perfectly safe, guys.

I know how scary it is when you read these articles online and start doubting everything in your kitchen. But please rest assured, there is no solid medical evidence linking clean protein powder to cancer.

Whey is just a byproduct of cheese making. If you buy reputed brands with third-party lab testing certificates (like Trustified), it is absolutely safe to use alongside your workouts.

I spent days worrying about this and even emailed a couple of nutritionists. They all said clean whey is fine, but I still stick to organic plant protein just to keep my peace of mind.

It doesn't cause cancer, but remember it's just a supplement. Focus on a good diet, 10k steps daily, and heavy compound lifts for actual fitness.
