Does prostate cancer metastasis to lung?

My neighbour has prostate cancer, and he's having some breathing issues. We are wondering if this could be related. Does prostate cancer typically metastasize to the lungs?

In advanced stages, it can sometimes affect the lungs. Along with the heavy hospital treatments, we used to give my brother warm tulsi-ginger water to help keep his breathing clear and chest warm. Do consult your main doctor for everything.

Yes, it can spread to the lungs in advanced cases. You will need a chest X-ray or CT scan to confirm this.

While lung spread is a possibility in advanced stages, keeping the respiratory system active helps. If the doctor clears it, simple deep breathing exercises and pranayama can help maintain lung capacity during cancer treatments.

Bhai, humare padosi ko bhi yahi bimari thi aur doctor ne bataya tha ki phefdo tak asar ja sakta hai. Par sahi samay par dawai shuru ki toh sab control mein aa gaya. Himmat mat harna bilkul.

Google will tell you a simple cough is lung metastasis, so please close that browser! Yes, it can happen in rare advanced cases, but leave that diagnosis to the guys with the stethoscopes and expensive degrees.

I am trying to understand this for my father-in-law. If it does spread to the lungs, what are the first signs we should watch out for? Is it a persistent cough or something else? Kindly share if you know.
