Does prostate cancer cause impotence?

My father had prostate cancer, and I'm aware of the risk for me. I'm wondering if prostate cancer itself, before any treatment, can cause impotence? I'm trying to understand all the potential symptoms.

While I usually spend my time craving hot butter chicken, I can tell you that prostate cancer treatments like surgery or radiation can indeed cause impotence. It is a tough topic, but keeping your spirits high and eating well during recovery always helps.

I am so tired of reading heavy medical terms at 4 AM, but yes, prostate cancer treatments can cause impotence because of nerve damage. It is a real side effect, so you might want to skip the late-night panic and ask your doctor directly.

It is a very sensitive issue and I feel for anyone going through this. Please note that while simple herbs cannot cure cancer or impotence, staying active and eating healthy can support your overall recovery after surgery.

If you also have diabetes, the risk of impotence is already higher due to nerve and blood vessel issues. Prostate cancer treatments can add to this, so you must work closely with your diabetologist and oncologist to manage both conditions.

Do not buy random herbal supplements online promising to cure impotence or prostate issues. Impotence is a complex anatomical side effect of prostate cancer surgery or radiation, and only a qualified urologist can offer genuine medical solutions.

As someone managing high BP, I know how cardiovascular health affects intimacy. Prostate cancer treatments can cause impotence, so regular doctor checkups and keeping your blood pressure under control are very important for recovery.
