Does progesterone cause breast cancer?

A relative recently had breast cancer, and now I'm extra careful about everything. I'm taking progesterone supplements for a hormonal issue, and I'm a bit worried. Could progesterone actually cause breast cancer?

My daughter had to take progesterone therapy for her cycle issues and we were also very scared reading things online. Our doctor explained that short-term use under supervision is generally very safe and doesn't cause such major risks. Just ensure you go for regular checkups as prescribed.

From what I have learned over the years, natural progesterone is quite different from synthetic progestins used in some therapies. Keeping your body in harmony with deep breathing and gentle yoga can help manage hormonal changes. Always keep your mind calm and discuss any therapy risks with your healer or doctor.

While you discuss the hormonal risks with your specialist, don't forget that a healthy lifestyle is your best defense. Regular physical activity like daily brisk walking or jogging helps keep your overall hormone levels balanced. Just keep active and follow whatever your doctor advises.

Hey, please don't stress too much by googling everything, it only shows the worst cases! Progesterone alone isn't some direct trigger for cancer, and doctors evaluate everything before prescribing it. Just have a candid chat with your gynecologist to clear your doubts.

To be safe, it is better to plan for regular screenings like mammograms or ultrasounds as recommended by your doctor. You can look for government-approved diagnostic labs or family health packages to keep the screening costs low. Preventive tests are always a smart investment for peace of mind.

Actually yaar, my mom was super worried about this during her menopause treatment. But her doctor told her that natural progesterone is generally safe, it is the synthetic ones in combined therapies that need caution. Just get a proper consultation instead of stressing out over Google.

Haan, internet pe toh kuch bhi likh dete hain, hum log darr jate hain na! Actually, it depends on whether it is bioidentical or synthetic, so don't take tension without asking. Safe side rehne ke liye apne doc se baat karo aur regular checkup karwate raho.
