Does pot help with back pain?

My back pain has been unbearable lately, and physiotherapy and medicines are only providing temporary relief. A friend suggested looking into alternative treatments, including 'pot'. Does pot help with back pain, or are there side effects?

My back has been complaining since I turned forty, but trying to smoke it away sounds like a recipe for sitting on the couch doing nothing all day! Honestly, a good orthopedic mattress and some core exercises are what actually help. Let's leave the magic herbs aside and fix our posture first.

I have recently started getting a dull ache in my lower back due to long study hours. Is it safe to use simple pain relief gels, or do we need a doctor's prescription even for that? I'm a bit hesitant to go to a clinic alone.

Instead of worrying about alternative treatments for back pain, maybe check if a heavy diet and sitting continuously while eating is causing the strain. Reducing weight through light, healthy home-cooked food can relieve a lot of pressure from your lower back. Give your spine a break!

I totally get it, back pain can make even sitting or standing feel like a massive task. While some people swear by alternative therapies for quick relief, they can have unpredictable effects on your daily focus. Be gentle with your body and consider consulting a physical therapist first.

Chronic back pain can sometimes be linked to vitamin deficiencies or bone density issues related to thyroid disorders. Masking the pain with alternative substances won't solve the real issue inside. Please get a proper blood test done and consult your physician for regular follow-ups.

I had a herniated disc and bad lower back pain for two years. Let me tell you, using substances for pain relief only hides the problem temporarily while you damage your back even more by moving incorrectly. Dedicated physiotherapy, core strengthening, and posture correction are the only real solutions.

For mild backaches, applying a warm sesame oil massage or a hot water bag gives great relief naturally. However, if your back pain is severe, radiates down your legs, or causes numbness, please do not try any home remedies or recreational substances. Go see a spine specialist immediately.
