My family loves having popcorn during movie nights. However, I recently overheard someone saying that popcorn can be bad for health. I wanted to confirm, does popcorn cause cancer?

Nahi yaar, aisa bilkul nahi hai. Normal popcorn se koi cancer nahi hota, yeh toh bas ek afwah hai, na? Haan, microwave wale popcorn ke packing mein pehle kuch chemicals hote the, par ab regular popcorn bilkul safe hai ghar pe bana kar khao.

Please do not get alarmed by everything you read on the internet. However, if you are having chronic digestive issues or throat irritation after eating popcorn, it is best to consult a doctor. It is always better to get professional advice for peace of mind.

I used to ignore minor throat issues and breathing changes thinking they were just from dry food like popcorn, but it turned out to be an infection that got severe. If you are feeling unwell or have persistent symptoms, don't just search online, go get a health checkup done immediately.

Haan na, people read one small thing online and start spreading rumors about normal food items. Normal home-cooked popcorn is totally fine and healthy. Bass thoda refined oil aur artificial butter kam rakho, simple!

There is no scientific proof that eating air-popped popcorn causes cancer. The concern was historically related to diacetyl in microwave popcorn flavoring, but most manufacturers have removed it. For a healthy option, just pop dry kernels on the stove with a little olive oil or ghee.

I completely understand how terrifying it is to read such things online, it used to give me panic attacks too. But honestly, popcorn itself is just corn and does not cause cancer. Try to avoid microwave packet varieties if you are worried, and just make it in a pressure cooker at home.
