Does pooping relieve gallbladder pain?

My brother has been suffering from severe gallbladder pain lately. He mentioned that sometimes after passing stool, he feels a temporary sense of relief. Does pooping actually relieve gallbladder pain, or is it just a coincidence?

I had gallbladder stones for two years before getting surgery. Trust me, pooping does not relieve gallbladder pain because the gallbladder stores bile, which is completely different from your lower bowel. To manage the pain temporarily, avoid oily or fatty foods strictly, but you must get an ultrasound done.

No, it doesn't relieve it because gallbladder pain is not related to bowel congestion. Please get it checked by a doctor.

Gallbladder attacks are usually triggered by fat digestion, so passing stool won't fix the underlying issue. Focus on a very low-fat, simple vegetarian diet with boiled veggies and khichdi to prevent triggering the pain. But please, consult a doctor for proper diagnosis.

Do not rely on online forums or random tips for something as serious as gallbladder pain. Passing stool might relieve general gas pressure, but it won't help if you have gallstones or inflammation. Go to a proper doctor and get an ultrasound instead of waiting.

Haha, I wish our digestive system was that simple, but unfortunately, your gallbladder and your colon are in different departments! Pooping might make you feel less bloated, but it won't stop a gallbladder attack. Better to get it checked out than hoping for a bathroom miracle.

Actually, they are two different things! Pooping might help with gas or bloating pressure, but gallbladder pain needs proper medical attention. Eat light and stay safe! 😊

When I had severe upper right pain, I went to a gastroenterologist at a reputed hospital. He clearly explained that gallbladder contraction is totally separate from bowel movements. Please consult a qualified specialist to get the right treatment rather than trying to self-diagnose.

In my experience, gallbladder pain is very sharp and can spread to your back, which does not go away just by clearing your stomach. Do not suffer in silence thinking it is just a digestive issue. Get a professional medical opinion early to avoid emergency situations later.

While emptying your bowels can relieve general abdominal bloating, it won't resolve biliary pain from the gallbladder. If you are experiencing pain under your right ribs, especially after eating fatty meals, it is best to see a doctor for a physical exam and liver function tests.

Nahi bhaiya, pet saaf hone se pittashay ka dard thik nahi hota hai. Ye dard thoda alag hota hai aur dahini taraf jyada mehsus hota hai. Aap turant kisi acche doctor se milkar jaanch karwa lijiye, laparwahi mat kijiye.
