Does plastic cause cancer?

Often store food in plastic containers, especially for lunchboxes. My mother keeps telling me plastic causes cancer. Is this true, kya plastic se cancer hota hai?

Haan, hamare gaon me bhi sab kehte hain ki plastic ke dabbo me khana garam nahi karna chahiye. Isse beemari ho sakti hai. Aap mitti ya steel ke bartan use kiya karo, woh sehat ke liye sabse acche hote hain.

Haan, actually directly plastic se cancer nahi hota, but plastic me khana microwave karna ya hot chai peena is dangerous na. Chemical leach hote hain unme se. Steel ya glass containers use kiya karo safe rehne ke liye.

Look, microplastics and chemical leaching from low-grade plastics are definitely health hazards linked to long-term issues. To keep it practical, just stop using plastic tiffins for hot office lunches. Switch to stainless steel or glass lunchboxes; it takes zero extra time.

Chemicals in plastic like phthalates can disrupt our endocrine system, which is especially risky if you have hormonal issues like PCOS. I have stopped using plastic bottles completely to keep my hormones balanced, though it's always best to discuss long-term health risks with a doctor.

Avoiding plastic might seem expensive if you buy fancy glass containers all at once, but you can start small with budget-friendly steel bottles. It's a simple way to prevent health risks without spending a bomb on premium lifestyle products.

Using plastic containers for hot food can release harmful chemicals like BPA which are not good for health. It is always better to transition to copper, glass, or steel bottles at home. If you ever feel unwell or have chronic health issues, please consult a medical specialist.
