Does plantar fasciitis cause heel pain?

My doctor told me I have plantar fasciitis, and I'm experiencing bahut pain in my heel, especially in the mornings. Is this heel pain a direct symptom of plantar fasciitis?

Absolutely, yes. Heel pain is actually the primary symptom of plantar fasciitis, especially when you take your very first steps in the morning. It feels like a sharp stab right under your heel.

Yes, it is the most common cause of heel pain. Don't worry too much, but make sure you don't walk barefoot on hard floors. Try wearing soft slippers at home to protect your heels from getting worse.

It definitely does. The pain is usually worse after resting and gets slightly better as you walk around. Try doing some simple calf stretches and rolling a frozen water bottle under your foot, it helps a lot.

Yes, son, it causes very severe heel pain. Applying warm mustard oil with a little turmeric can sometimes give relief to the stiff muscles. But do consult a doctor if the pain doesn't go away.
