Does physical therapy work for arthritis?

My doctor diagnosed me with arthritis in multiple joints and suggested physical therapy as a primary treatment. I'm wondering about its effectiveness. Does physical therapy work for arthritis, or is it mostly pain management?

In our old days, we relied on light stretching and warm water fomentation. Modern physiotherapy is a very refined version of this and is excellent for elder joints. Do try it alongside a cup of warm ginger water to reduce internal heat.

Yes, it works beautifully. It helps by keeping your joint cartilage lubricated and strengthening the surrounding muscles to take the pressure off the bones. Please consult a physical therapist for a personalized exercise plan.

Haan bilkul, physiotherapy se joint stiffness ekdum kam ho jaati hai na. Mere pita ji ko bohot relief mila tha jab unhone daily exercise shuru ki thi. Bas kisi achhe therapist se hi seekhna.

It definitely works to improve movement. Along with physical therapy, eating an anti-inflammatory vegetarian diet rich in turmeric, walnuts, and green leafy vegetables helps soothe arthritis from the inside out.

Absolutely, motion is lotion for the joints. Strengthening your hamstrings and quads helps absorb the impact that would otherwise hit your joints. Pair your physical therapy with a high-protein diet to rebuild that muscle support.
