Does pcos make you tired?

Despite getting enough sleep, I still feel constantly exhausted and low on energy throughout the day. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, and I'm wondering if this fatigue is related to my condition. Does PCOS make you feel tired all the time?

My sister has PCOS and she used to sleep for 10 hours and still wake up completely exhausted. Her doctor said insulin resistance and low vitamin D/B12 levels are very common with it. Once she started her supplements, her energy levels improved a lot.

Fatigue is indeed a very common complaint with PCOS, but you should not assume it is only because of that. Please get your thyroid profile, iron levels, and vitamin D tested to rule out other deficiencies. Always consult your doctor before starting any supplements.

Honestly, even three cups of strong filter coffee don't help on some days. The fatigue with PCOS is real—you feel like a smartphone running on 1% battery all day. Just try to get some decent sleep and don't push yourself too hard.

Yes, chronic fatigue is very common with PCOS due to insulin issues. You are not just being lazy, it is a real physical symptom.

For me, the brain fog and exhaustion were the hardest parts of dealing with PCOS. I found that cutting down on sugar and doing a 15-minute walk in the morning really helped boost my energy, though I still have my low days.
