Does pcos cause insomnia?

I've been struggling with insomnia for a long time, often finding it hard to fall asleep or stay asleep. I also have PCOS, and I'm wondering if there's a link between my sleep issues and my condition. Does PCOS cause insomnia?

Yes, PCOS affects your sleep cycles, but staring at your phone till 2 AM won't help. Turn off your screen by 10 PM, keep your room dark, and establish a proper routine if you want to fix it.

Oh yes, those midnight thoughts can keep you awake for hours! 😅 Hormonal imbalances definitely mess with our sleep melatonin. Try some soothing music before bed!

Honestly, when I can't sleep because of my PCOS-related restlessness, I get the worst midnight cravings for ice cream. Eating heavy snacks late at night actually makes the insomnia worse, so try to avoid it!

Yes, sleep issues are very common. Instead of buying expensive sleeping pills, just try drinking warm turmeric milk or chamomile tea an hour before sleeping. It is cheap and works well.

I was reading some medical articles and apparently, women with PCOS have a much higher risk of sleep apnea and low melatonin, which causes insomnia. It is amazing how much hormones control our sleep.

My wife faced severe insomnia due to PCOS. We noticed that having a lighter dinner with less carbs and more protein helped her digest food easily and sleep much better at night.

Hormones can disturb our sleep when the body is under stress. Just pray or meditate for five minutes before sleeping to release the negative energy. Take care of your health.
