Does pantene cause dandruff?

For a few months now, I've been noticing a lot of dandruff, and my scalp feels quite itchy. My friend mentioned that her shampoo might be causing it, and I've been using Pantene recently. Can it be the reason for my dandruff problem?

My teenage daughter started getting severe dandruff after using it for a few weeks because her scalp is very sensitive. We switched her to a mild, sulfate-free shampoo and the flaking stopped completely. Maybe try changing the shampoo for a bit and see if it helps your hair too.

I ignored my itchy scalp and dandruff for months, thinking it was just my shampoo, and ended up with a nasty fungal scalp infection. Don't just keep switching supermarket brands like I did. If the dandruff doesn't go away, go to a dermatologist before it leads to hair fall.

Haan na, even I felt my scalp got dry and itchy after using it for a month. Sometimes these commercial shampoos have too many strong chemicals that don't suit everyone. Maybe try a gentler one or just apply a little curd on your scalp before washing.

I totally get how frustrating and stressful it is to suddenly deal with dandruff and wonder if your shampoo is ruining your hair. While Pantene doesn't directly cause dandruff, if its ingredients build up on your scalp, it can trigger irritation. Try using a clarifying rinse or see a skin doctor if you feel very worried.

Haan, mere dost ko bhi suit nahi kiya tha aur uska dandruff kafi badh gaya tha. Strong chemicals hote hain isme kabhi kabhi na. Try using a mild ayurvedic shampoo or just wash your hair with lukewarm water instead of too hot water.

Any shampoo that contains heavy silicones can leave a residue on your scalp if not washed out properly. This buildup can trap oil and lead to flaking, which looks like dandruff. Try switching to a simple, clear anti-dandruff shampoo for a couple of weeks to clear it up.

Humare yahan toh log kehte hain ki chemical wale shampoo se sar ki twacha khushk ho jati hai. It might not suit your hair type, which causes the skin to peel like dandruff. Try applying a little coconut oil with lemon juice before bath, it works very well.

Instead of buying expensive medicated shampoos directly, just try switching to a basic 100-rupee ketoconazole shampoo from the local pharmacy twice a week. Sometimes commercial shampoos like Pantene build up on the scalp, and a cheap pharmacy wash can clear it without costing a lot.

I used to feel so embarrassed to go out because of white flakes on my black kurtas, so I completely feel your pain. For me, Pantene did make my scalp too dry, which triggered the flaking. Switching to a gentler routine really saved my confidence, so please don't lose heart.

It can happen if the product doesn't suit your scalp chemistry. Try stopping it for a week and see if the flaking reduces. Take care.
