Does pancreas cancer hurt?

My uncle was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I'm wondering, is it a type of cancer that causes a lot of pain from the beginning, or do symptoms appear later?

According to most medical trackers and symptom checkers I use, it definitely can cause significant pain, especially in the upper abdomen that sometimes radiates to the back. It usually gets worse after eating or when lying down. If you or someone you know is experiencing this, logging the pain frequency on an app can help when you discuss it with an oncologist.

I am up at 3 AM reading about this and honestly, any cancer can cause pain, but pancreas issues are known to be pretty rough on the back. God, health anxiety is real. If there is pain, please don't sit and Google like me, just go to a real clinic and get a scan done.

Yes, it is known to cause severe abdominal and back pain as the tumor grows and presses on nerves. If someone is undergoing treatment, keeping up very mild physical activity like a short 10-minute walk can sometimes help with pain management, but only if the doctor gives the green light.

Actually yaar, it can cause severe pain in the stomach area that goes to your back. But it depends on the stage also. Please don't panic or start self-diagnosing, direct doc ke paas jao and test karvao if there is persistent pain.

My uncle went through this, so I know it can cause quite a bit of discomfort in the stomach and back. It is really tough to watch, but modern doctors have very good pain management plans and medications now. Please stay strong and talk to a specialist about supportive care.

Look, let's not sugarcoat it. Pancreatic cancer is known to be quite painful because of where the pancreas is located near the nerves. If there is dull, constant pain in the upper stomach area along with weight loss, stop reading things online and get a proper CT scan immediately.

Since the pancreas controls insulin, any major issue there, including cancer, affects the whole digestive and endocrine system. It does cause deep abdominal pain, and often comes with sudden changes in blood sugar. Please get an expert medical opinion right away instead of waiting.
