Does pain make you tired?

I've been dealing with chronic migraines, and even on days when the pain is manageable, I feel completely exhausted. Does pain really make you feel so tired and drained?

Oh absolutely, fighting constant pain drains all your energy. I have tried hot saltwater baths and herbal teas which helped soothe my body, but proper rest is what actually recovers you. Please don't push yourself too hard.

Yes, chronic pain keeps the nervous system in a constant state of high alert, which my doctor explained is extremely taxing on the body's energy reserves. This continuous stress prevents deep sleep, leading to severe daytime fatigue.

Fatigue from pain is real, but don't just rely on online suggestions or assuming it's normal. If you are constantly tired and in pain, you must consult a medical specialist to find the root cause.

Dealing with PCOS pelvic pain always leaves me completely exhausted and drained. I think the constant physical discomfort just wears you out mentally and physically. Try to rest as much as you can.

At my age, even a minor backache makes me want to sleep for two days straight! The body spends so much energy just dealing with the pain that there is nothing left for anything else. It's totally normal to feel wiped out.
