Does ovarian cancer cause pain in ovary?

I've been having some persistent dull pain near my lower abdomen, sometimes it feels like it's exactly where my ovary should be. I'm worried and trying to understand if ovarian cancer can actually cause pain localized to the ovary itself.

It doesn't usually cause a pinpoint pain right in the ovary itself. Instead, it feels like a general, dull ache or heavy pressure in your lower abdomen or pelvic region. If you are experiencing persistent discomfort there, please get a scan done.

Honestly, my sister had some lower stomach pain last year and we all got super stressed. It turned out to be just a simple water cyst that went away on its own. Don't jump to the worst conclusions, just see a doctor.

My mother went through an ovarian issue recently. She didn't feel any specific pain in one spot, just a lot of bloating and general lower back pressure. Don't ignore it if the discomfort is continuous, get a proper checkup.

My doctor explained that you can't really feel pain in the ovary itself like a specific pinpoint spot. The discomfort is usually more spread out, like pelvic heaviness, back pain, or feeling full quickly. A pelvic ultrasound is the best way to see what's actually happening.

My mother always says to drink warm water and rest for pelvic aches, but for persistent pain, we must trust the specialists. Ovarian discomfort can be due to many normal reasons, but only a doctor can rule out anything serious. Please visit a clinic.

Beta, any pain in the lower abdomen should be checked by a proper lady doctor. While a warm compress or drinking ajwain water can ease simple gas pain, they won't help if there is an internal issue. Do not delay seeing a professional.
