Does otezla help relieve joint pain from psoriatic arthritis?

My rheumatologist suggested Otezla for my psoriatic arthritis, mainly for the joint pain. I wanted to know if anyone here has found it effective specifically for relieving their joint discomfort. Does it really work for the pain?

Yes, it is very helpful in reducing the inflammation that causes joint pain. Along with Otezla, practicing gentle joint loosening movements (sukshma vyayama) under guidance can slowly restore your flexibility.

Haan, bilkul relief milta hai na. It targets the inflammation directly, so after a few weeks, the morning stiffness in the joints starts reducing. Just be patient because it takes some time to show full effect.

Otezla is indeed prescribed for psoriatic arthritis and it helps a lot of patients manage their chronic pain. However, it can take up to 3 to 4 months to see proper results, so do not lose hope early. Keep your doctor updated.

I have been on Otezla for about eight months now. Personally, my finger joint pain and morning stiffness have significantly reduced, though the first month was tough with some mild stomach upset. It has made my daily life much easier.

It works well to control the joint swelling. Once the medication starts acting and the pain goes down, try to start light walking for 15-20 minutes daily. Keeping the joints moving is key, provided your doctor clears you for it.
