Does ondansetron help with stomach pain?
My stomach has been bothering me quite a bit lately, with a lot of cramping and discomfort. I have some ondansetron at home for nausea. Will ondansetron help with stomach pain too, or just the nausea?

Listen, ondansetron is mainly for nausea and vomiting, not really for pain. If you are having actual stomach pain, don't just pop this pill. Let me know if there's any vomiting too, but please consult a doctor for pain relief.
I am actually facing a similar issue and was wondering about this tablet too. Does it work at all if we have gas pain, or is it strictly only for when we feel like vomiting? If anyone knows, please tell.
I just had a bad stomach infection last week. The doctor gave me ondansetron specifically because I was throwing up constantly, but he gave a separate tablet for the cramps. It won't do much for the actual pain itself.
Why are you asking this on the internet? Ondansetron has a very specific medical use for nausea. Taking random medicines for stomach pain can be dangerous and hide serious underlying issues. Go see a professional doctor.

This modern medicine is to stop vomiting, child, not for stomach aches. For mild pain, you can try drinking warm water with a little carom seeds (ajwain) or ginger. But if the pain is very sharp and sudden, please go to a clinic immediately.
