Does omega xl help with arthritis?

My arthritis has been getting worse, especially in my hands. A relative from the US suggested I try something called Omega XL. I want to know if this supplement actually helps with arthritis pain.

I can only share what happened to me. I had terrible knee stiffness and started taking Omega XL based on an ad. Honestly, I didn't see much difference even after two months, so I stopped and went back to my doctor's regular prescription.

While Omega XL might help reduce joint inflammation, don't rely only on pills. Doing low-impact walking and light quad-strengthening exercises helped my joint health immensely. Ask your doctor if you are fit to start basic daily exercise.

I totally get it, dealing with constant arthritis pain is so mentally and physically draining. Omega XL has green-lipped mussel oil which some find helpful for swelling, but it can be quite expensive. I hope you find something that gives you relief soon.

Honestly yaar, Omega XL is pretty expensive in India and actually, normal high-quality fish oil does almost the same job for joint pain. I tried it for my dad's arthritis but shifted back to standard Omega 3 because of the cost.

According to research, Omega XL contains lipid extracts from green-lipped mussels which can support joint health. However, my rheumatologist mentioned that standard medical treatments for arthritis should remain your primary focus. Supplements only act as a secondary support system.
