Does oil pulling help with gum disease?

I've noticed my gums bleeding a bit lately, and I'm worried about gum disease. A friend suggested trying oil pulling as a natural remedy. Does oil pulling actually have benefits for improving gum health and combating gum disease?

In my younger days, we always used sesame oil for keeping our teeth strong. It definitely helps reduce gum swelling and bleeding over time if done regularly. But if your gums are severely receding, please consult a dentist rather than depending only on this.

Yes! Oil pulling with coconut oil is super helpful for reducing bad bacteria in the mouth. It makes your mouth feel so clean and fresh every morning. Definitely give it a try alongside your normal brushing routine!

Because of my PCOS, I sometimes get inflamed gums due to hormonal fluctuations. Doing coconut oil pulling has helped soothe the sensitivity, but I am very careful not to rely on it completely. Always keep your dentist in the loop for any chronic gum issues.

Thyroid issues can sometimes lead to dry mouth and gum irritation, which I experience often. I do oil pulling for comfort, but I always make sure my thyroid levels are monitored with regular blood tests. Your oral health is deeply connected to your overall body, so keep checking both.

Haan, gums ke liye toh oil pulling sach mein kaafi badhiya hai, inflammation kam hoti hai. Par agar pyorrhea ya koi badi problem hai, toh bina doctor ko dikhaye kaam nahi chalega, na? Keep doing it but visit your dentist once.
