Does obesity cause diabetes?

My doctor warned me about my rising sugar levels and said my weight is a big factor. He said obesity often leads to diabetes, which got me thinking. Is it true that being overweight significantly increases your risk of developing diabetes?

Obesity actually increases insulin resistance in the body, yaar. If the cells stop responding to insulin, blood sugar levels shoot up. It's better to start cutting down on junk food before things get complicated.

I always worry about this because even a slight weight gain makes me panic about getting type 2 diabetes. If you are worried, please get a HbA1c test done right away to check your average sugars. It's better to know and manage it early.

Don't stress yourself out too much. Yes, excess body weight is a major risk factor for diabetes, but it is completely reversible with steady effort. Let's focus on simple daily walks and cleaner eating habits first.

The doctors at Apollo Hospital told me that obesity and diabetes are highly linked due to metabolic changes. They customized a fat-loss plan for me. I highly suggest you visit a good hospital and ask your doctor clearly for guidance.

In our times, we stayed active and ate home-cooked food, so these issues were rare. Excess weight surely brings sugar problems. You can drink a little methi water in the morning, but please make sure you walk daily and eat balanced meals.

I am so tired I can barely see straight, but yes, carrying extra weight definitely messes with your blood sugar. If I can survive on 4 hours of sleep, you can definitely manage to cut down on sugar and do some basic exercises!

Our bodies are a temple, and keeping them light and healthy brings peace to our minds. Obesity can cause physical imbalances like diabetes, but with positive thoughts and mindful eating, you can restore harmony. Stay positive and take care.

My HbA1c had touched 7.2 when I was 95 kgs last year. I managed to lose 12 kgs through strict portion control and daily walking, and my sugar levels are absolutely normal now without medicine. You can definitely reverse it too.
