Does obesity cause cancer?

I've been struggling with my weight for years, and my doctor keeps telling me it's not good for my health. My sister recently mentioned that obesity can actually lead to certain types of cancer. Is there a strong link between being overweight and getting cancer?

My doctor warned me that being severely overweight increases chronic inflammation in the body, which can elevate cancer risks. That really scared me into hit the gym and lose 15 kgs. It's better to start acting on your health early.

Drinking warm lemon water in the morning and eating fresh fruits can help control obesity naturally. However, if you are experiencing severe fatigue or rapid unexplained weight shifts, please consult a specialist doctor immediately for a checkup.

Obesity accumulates toxins and disrupts the natural balance of our cells, which can trigger abnormal growths over time. Practicing regular Kapalbhati and Surya Namaskar helps detoxify the body and maintain a healthy weight naturally.

Haan, medical research toh kehti hai ki weight zyada hone se risk badhta hai na. Iska matlab yeh nahi ki sabko ho jayega, but safety ke liye weight control me rakhna hi best hai.

I can only share what my family doctor told me during my routine health screening. He mentioned that maintaining a healthy BMI is crucial because extra body fat can affect hormone levels, which is linked to certain health risks.

My oncologist colleague explained that excess fat cells produce high levels of estrogen and inflammatory cytokines, which are linked to an increased risk of at least 13 types of cancers. He emphasized that even a 5-10% weight loss significantly reduces this risk.

I love my chole bhature, but reading about how obesity is linked to serious risks like cancer really made me balance my eating habits. Now I enjoy my favorite treats only on weekends and eat clean during the week.
