Does nyquil bring down fever?

My friend from the US was mentioning this medicine called Nyquil for cold and flu symptoms. We usually use paracetamol here for fever, but I was wondering if this one also helps bring down body temperature quickly. Just curious to know more about it.

Yes, it contains acetaminophen which helps with fever, but make sure to drink plenty of warm fluids like ginger tea to stay hydrated. A light, warm diet of khichdi works best when your body is fighting a fever.

NyQuil has paracetamol in it, which is the active ingredient for reducing fever and pain. Just be careful not to take any other paracetamol-containing tablets like Crocin at the same time to avoid an overdose.

It has been around for ages and is very reliable for bringing down fever and helping you rest. Just rest well and don't rush back to work too quickly, beta.

Yes, it really helps with the fever and body aches when you have a bad flu. I always keep a bottle handy for those terrible winter nights when I just need to sleep off the sickness.

Bro, it literally knocks you out and brings the fever down by morning. Just don't plan on driving or doing any work after taking a dose.

It has ingredients that reduce fever, but if you have high blood pressure like me, check with your doctor first. Some cold and cough medicines can affect your BP levels, so keep monitoring it.

Yes, the acetaminophen in it is effective for fevers. However, self-medicating for more than a couple of days isn't advisable, so a doctor's consultation is best if your fever persists.

It helps lower the temperature so you can rest. Once the fever breaks and if your doctor says it's okay, a light walk can help you feel refreshed and active again.
