Does nipple piercing cause cancer?

My friend got a nipple piercing recently, and her parents are really worried. They told her it could cause cancer, which sounds quite extreme. Can nipple piercings really cause cancer?

Oh god, I always worry about these things too and search online for hours. From what I know, it doesn't cause cancer at all! But please make sure you go to a hygienic place to avoid painful infections, which can be super stressful.

No, it doesn't cause cancer. Just keep your immunity high with a good diet and exercise so the piercing heals faster without infections. Proper hygiene is the key here.

I totally get it, these kinds of health rumors can make anyone super anxious. Rest assured, there is absolutely no link between nipple piercings and breast cancer. Just focus on keeping it clean and healing well!

Beta, cancer nahi hota isse, par shareer ke naajuk hisson par chhed karwana thoda jokhim bhara hai. Agar dard ya sujan ho toh thoda haldi-paani se saaf kar sakte hain, par turant doctor ko dikhana hi sahi hai.

I actually asked my gynecologist about this during a routine checkup. She assured me there is zero scientific evidence linking piercings to cancer. The main risks are just local infections, scarring, or nerve damage if not done by a professional.

Do not worry, it definitely doesn't cause cancer. When my sister got one, she used warm saline compresses twice a day to prevent infection, which worked wonders. Keep it clean and avoid playing with it.
