Does nebulizer help asthma?

My son has asthma, and sometimes his attacks are quite severe. The doctor suggested a nebulizer, but I want to be sure it's the right step. Does a nebulizer really help asthma patients effectively?

Please don't delay going to a proper pulmonologist. I once ignored my wheezing thinking it would go away and ended up in the emergency room. A nebulizer is highly effective during attacks, but you need a proper doctor's prescription for the right liquid medicines to use in it.

Yes, it helps open up your airways quickly during a flare-up. Once you are stable and your doctor clears you, try doing light cardio or breathing exercises. Improving your lung capacity naturally through walking helps a lot in the long run.

I totally get it, struggling to breathe is extremely scary and stressful. Nebulizers work wonderfully because you can just sit back and inhale the mist without any effort. Please take care and keep your doctor's emergency number handy.

For mild congestion, drinking warm ginger tea or inhaling plain steam helps soothe the throat. But for actual asthma, these home remedies are not enough. You must use a nebulizer with the proper prescribed medication and consult your doctor immediately if symptoms get worse.

Haan, bilkul help karta hai, especially jab chest bohot heavy ho rahi ho. Inhaler se breathe karna difficult hota hai na severe cough mein, tab nebulizer works best. It directly delivers the mist to your lungs and gives instant relief.

My son has asthma and the nebulizer has been our absolute lifesaver during winters. It is much easier for young kids to use compared to standard inhalers because they just have to breathe normally. Always keep the machine clean and sanitized after every single use.
