Does native shampoo cause dandruff?

I'm trying out Native shampoo as I heard good things about it. However, my scalp has felt a bit itchy lately, which wasn't happening before. Does Native shampoo cause dandruff in some users?

I tried so many products that gave me itchy flakes before returning to simple home remedies. If this shampoo is giving you dandruff, try applying a little lemon juice mixed with warm coconut oil before your wash. It really helps soothe the scalp naturally.

Dandruff is usually a fungal issue, not just caused by a shampoo bottle. However, if Native is stripping your scalp of natural oils, your body might overproduce sebum, leading to flakes. Stop using it and get a proper ketoconazole wash if it doesn't clear up.

Yes bro, it literally dried out my scalp after just three washes and I started seeing white flakes everywhere. I think the formula is too harsh or has some ingredients that don't suit normal scalps. I had to switch back to my medical shampoo.

I noticed some dryness too, but honestly, I think my dandruff spikes when I eat too much spicy street food and sweets! If you are using this shampoo, maybe try cut back on the sugar for a bit and see if your scalp improves naturally.

Dealing with a flaky, itchy scalp can make you feel so self-conscious and stressed out, I completely feel your pain. It is incredibly frustrating. Just stop using the product for a week to let your scalp calm down, it will get better.

I consult a dermatologist at a very reputed clinic, and he always says never to experiment with trendy online shampoos if you have a sensitive scalp. Ask your doctor clearly for a scalp-safe prescription shampoo instead of wasting money on these brands.

I had a massive flare-up with this shampoo last winter. If you want to use it, make sure you dilute it with water first and rinse thoroughly. Better yet, use a good anti-dandruff shampoo once a week to keep the flakes under control.

I totally get it, dandruff can be so annoying especially when you are wearing dark clothes and constantly worrying about flakes. It really affects your confidence. Please don't worry, just switch to a milder shampoo and it should clear up.

At this point in life, keeping whatever hair I have left is a victory, let alone worrying about a few flakes! If this shampoo is giving you trouble, just go back to the basic blue clinical bottle. No need to make life more complicated.

Native is quite overpriced here, and if it is causing dandruff, it is a total waste of money. Instead of buying more expensive hair masks to fix it, just stop using it and buy a basic medicated shampoo from the local chemist for a fraction of the cost.

Yes, some of its ingredients can dry out the scalp and cause flaking. Try switching back to your previous shampoo to see if it resolves.
