Does naproxen help with tooth pain?

Suddenly got a throbbing toothache and it's unbearable. I usually take a paracetamol, but I have Naproxen available. Does Naproxen help with tooth pain effectively?

Bro, tooth pain is literally the worst, I feel you! It does help ease that annoying throbbing, but don't stress too much. Just get a quick dentist appointment tomorrow so they can fix whatever is causing it permanently.

I have been having this terrible dental pain since yesterday and was thinking of taking this. Did anyone else feel really dizzy or get acidity after taking it? I am always so scared of side effects.

Please do not rely on painkillers for tooth pain. I kept taking them for weeks to delay going to the dentist, and the infection spread badly, requiring a complicated surgery. See a dentist immediately to avoid making it worse.

I completely panicked when my tooth started hurting at midnight, but taking a prescribed dose of this really helped me sleep. It is quite common for dental inflammation. Just take it after food and call your dentist in the morning.

Literally typing this at 3 AM because my tooth is killing me and sleep is a distant dream. Yes, it helps dull the ache enough so you don't go crazy, but honestly, only a dentist can save us from this misery.

It can give temporary relief, but dental health shouldn't be neglected. Just like I have to do regular thyroid tests to stay on track, you must follow up with a dentist to treat the real issue. Don't just keep suppressing the pain.

I used it during my root canal recovery. It works well for swelling, but you should also do warm salt water gargles alongside it. Do not exceed the dose written on the pack, and check with your doctor if the pain persists past 3 days.

Yes, it is quite effective for dental pain because of its anti-inflammatory properties. Just make sure you do not take it on an empty stomach to avoid gastritis. It is only a temporary fix, so please book a dental consult.
