Does naproxen help with fever?

My son has a high fever, and I have Naproxen at home for my headaches. I'm wondering if it's safe and effective for him. Does Naproxen help with fever in children?

It can reduce fever, but you have to be very careful if you have high blood pressure like me. Many of these pain and fever medicines can raise BP or interfere with heart medicines. Always get a proper checkup and let the doctor decide the safest option for you.

Haan na, it does reduce fever, but usually doctors prescribe normal paracetamol first for that. This one is quite strong on the stomach. Better to ask a doc before taking it, directly medical shop se lekar mat khao.

Yes, it works as an antipyretic to bring down fever, but it is typically used when there is body pain as well. Make sure you drink lots of water and eat something before taking it, as it can cause acidity. If the fever is high or persistent, skip self-medication and visit a clinic.

I know how scary it feels when your temperature rises and you just want it to stop. It is totally normal to feel anxious in this moment. Just call a general physician or do an online consult instead of guessing the tablet dosage, it will save you a lot of worry.

I always get so worried when fever doesn't come down and start googling every medicine. From what I know, it is used for fever sometimes, but please make sure you don't take it if you are already taking other cold medicines. Check with a doctor first to be absolutely safe.
