Does mounjaro lower blood sugar in non diabetics?

I don't have diabetes, but I'm exploring options for significant weight loss. Someone told me Mounjaro can lower blood sugar even in non-diabetics. Is this true, and is it safe if I don't have high sugar?

It can lower your blood sugar, but mostly it works when your levels are high, so it doesn't cause sudden crashes in non-diabetics! Pretty cool how smart these new medicines are. 😊

I am actually thinking of starting it for my insulin resistance. Does it make you feel dizzy or weak if your blood sugar is already in the normal range? I'm a bit nervous to try.

I am non-diabetic but had severe insulin resistance and high weight. When my doctor put me on this, my fasting sugar stabilized beautifully and I didn't experience any dangerous low sugar episodes.

Honestly, the best part is how it kills those late-night sweet cravings! Even without diabetes, my sugar crashes from eating heavy chole bhature have completely stopped.

Please don't take these heavy metabolic drugs casually. I ignored my fluctuating sugar levels for years before they became a major issue. Always get proper blood work done first so a doctor can guide you.

I was constantly worried about hypoglycemia when researching this medication. Apparently, it only releases insulin when blood sugar rises, but please keep some glucose handy just in case you feel shaky.

I've been reading a lot about how it works on GLP-1 and GIP receptors. It seems it only acts when food enters your system, so normal sugar levels stay pretty stable.

Don't worry too much, it doesn't work like insulin which can suddenly crash your sugar levels. It just helps your body process carbs better, making you feel much more energetic throughout the day.

Managing thyroid and weight is already so tricky, so I know how exhausting blood sugar issues can be. If you start this, make sure to get routine HbA1c and thyroid panels done to monitor your body's response.

I completely understand why you're worried about sugar levels dropping too low. I had panic attacks thinking about it, but actually, it regulates sugar quite safely without causing sudden drops if you aren't diabetic.
