Does motrin lower a fever?
My little one has a fever since morning and is feeling quite restless. I have some Motrin at home, but I usually use paracetamol for fever. Is Motrin also effective in bringing down a high temperature for kids?

Yes yaar, Motrin is actually very good for lowering fever. It has ibuprofen which brings down body temperature pretty fast and also helps with body pain. Just make sure you eat something before taking it, khali pet मत लेना.

Yeah, it works well. I had a bad fever last semester and my doctor prescribed ibuprofen, which is what Motrin is. It brought my temperature down in like an hour. Just drink plenty of water with it.

Haan na, fever low karne ke liye it works very nicely. It helps reduce that heavy feeling and shivering too. If the fever is too high, just keep doing cold water cloth sponging on the forehead along with the medicine.

It definitely lowers fever, but please keep a close watch on how often the temperature spikes back. I always worry if it's dengue or something else when a fever doesn't stay down, so do keep a thermometer handy. If it stays high for more than 48 hours, definitely consult a doctor.

It does help reduce fever, but if you have high blood pressure like me, you should be careful with Motrin. Medicines like these can sometimes affect your BP readings. It is always safer to monitor your temperature regularly and consult your general physician for advice.
