Does motrin help with stomach pain?

Kal se thoda pet mein dard ho raha hai, khaana bhi theek se nahi jaa raha. Someone suggested taking Motrin for it, but I'm not sure if it's meant for stomach pain or not. Should I try it?

Honestly, at our age, popping Motrin for stomach pain might just make your tummy protest even louder. It works great for my knee pain but can be a bit harsh on the digestive lining. Try some warm ginger water or plain dahi instead of self-medicating, your gut will thank you.

Actually, my doctor specifically told me not to take Motrin or any ibuprofen for abdominal pain. It can irritate the stomach lining and sometimes worsens issues like acidity or ulcers. For stomach cramps, a different class of antispasmodics is usually recommended, so please check with a doc first.

No yaar, don't take Motrin for stomach pain! It is actually a painkiller that can cause serious acidity and burning in your stomach. Mere saath ho chuka hai, it made my stomach ache way worse. Better to just drink warm water or take an antacid if it is simple gas.

Haan na, stomach pain ke liye directly tablets nahi khani chahiye. Motrin is usually very strong for the tummy and can cause more acidity. Mere ghar pe simple saunf ka paani boiling karke dete hain, it is much safer. If it still hurts, please consult a family doctor.

As a general rule, we advise against using NSAIDs like Motrin for stomach pain because they inhibit prostaglandins that protect your stomach lining. It can actually trigger gastritis. If you have severe cramping or sharp pain, you need an evaluation, not a general pain reliever.

Listen didi, don't make this mistake of taking random painkillers for stomach issues. Motrin is not meant for stomach ache and it might cause more burning sensation inside. If the pain is severe or doesn't go away, go to a clinic and get it checked by a proper doctor instead of experimenting.
