Does mono cause vomiting?

I'm feeling really sick and my stomach is upset. My friend suggested it might be mono because of my fatigue and body aches. But I'm also vomiting a bit, so I wanted to ask if mono causes vomiting typically.

While vomiting isn't the primary symptom, nausea and stomach discomfort can happen. Don't spend too much on expensive hospital visits unless it becomes severe; just consult your local clinic first.

It can happen bro, especially if your liver gets slightly swollen from the infection. I felt very pukish during the first week of mono.

Yeah, it can make you feel super nauseous. I couldn't even look at food for a few days without feeling like throwing up.

It can make your stomach feel really weird and nauseous! 🤢 Just stick to very light foods like khichdi and take small sips of water to keep your stomach happy.

Vomiting is less common than a sore throat or fatigue, but gut issues can happen. If you can't keep any liquids down, please seek medical help immediately to avoid dehydration.

From what I was reading, severe vomiting isn't typical for mono. It usually causes nausea, but actual vomiting might mean something else is going on, so check with a doc.
