Does molds cause cancer?

I recently found a patch of mold growing in my old storage room and it got me thinking. I've heard some unsettling things online about health risks. Does mold cause cancer?

Please do not let fear consume your mind, stay positive. While certain heavy toxins from old spoiled food molds can be harmful, everyday wall mold rarely causes such severe diseases.

I didn't know this was even possible. Does this mean the black spots on bathroom walls are also dangerous, or is it only about mold on food?

In our village, we always whitewash walls before the rains to avoid sickness. It is best to consult a general physician if you have chronic exposure, just to be safe.

Molds on grains like peanuts can produce toxins called aflatoxins, which are indeed risky. As a diabetic, I am always very careful to eat fresh, well-stored food.

No need to panic at all! Simple household mold mostly just triggers allergies or sneezing, not cancer. Just get some cleaning spray and clear it out! 😊

I ignored a chronic cough from a damp room for months, and it turned into severe bronchitis. Please get yourself and your house checked before things get worse.

Actually, regular wall mold won't cause cancer, yaar. It can definitely mess with your breathing or asthma though, so better to clean it up quickly.
