Does moisturizer help eczema?

I've been dealing with eczema flare-ups for a while, and my skin gets really dry and itchy. Someone told me that a good moisturizer is key. Does moisturizer really help to manage eczema symptoms effectively?

Absolutely, keeping the skin hydrated is key. Along with a heavy moisturizer, make sure you drink plenty of water and avoid processed foods that can trigger inflammation.

Yes! Treat moisturizer like your best friend. Slather it on like you are buttering a paratha, especially right after your bath.

Haan, it really helps calm the itching, na. Use a thick, fragrance-free cream instead of watery lotions to lock in the moisture properly.

Over the years, I have seen that keeping the skin barrier damp really prevents flare-ups. Apply a good, plain moisturizer twice a day without fail.

At this age, my skin is dry anyway, but for eczema, moisturizer is an absolute must. Just don't buy those fancy scented ones; stick to simple medical-grade creams.

Yes, moisturizing is the first line of defense for eczema. Look for creams containing ceramides, and always apply them within three minutes of bathing for best results.
