Does mirtazapine help you sleep?

My doctor suggested mirtazapine as an option to help with my sleep troubles, along with managing my anxiety. Before I start taking it, I wanted to ask if mirtazapine is generally known to help you sleep.

Trust me, it works like a charm for sleep! You will sleep like a baby within an hour of taking it, so don't stress too much about sleepless nights anymore.

Yes, it is highly sedative, especially at lower doses like 7.5mg or 15mg. Just make sure to take it right before you plan to close your eyes, as the drowsiness hits quite fast.

Bro, it literally knocked me out cold the first few days. Sleep quality improved big time, but the morning grogginess was thoda heavy to handle initially.

It definitely helped me sleep, but does anyone else feel super heavy and confused when they wake up the next morning? I struggle to get out of bed for at least an hour.

When my insomnia was at its worst, this medicine was a lifesaver. I know how exhausting those sleepless nights are, and this genuinely gave my mind the deep rest it desperately needed.

It does help with sleep, but remember to couple it with some lifestyle habits. I used to drink a cup of warm chamomile tea or turmeric milk an hour before taking the tablet to help my mind settle down.

It does have strong sedative properties which aid sleep, but the effect can vary depending on your dosage. It is best to let your doctor decide the exact timing and dose so you don't feel sluggish the next day.
