Does mint tea help you sleep?

I've been struggling with insomnia for a few months now, and my sleep cycle is completely off. A colleague mentioned that mint tea might help. Is it true that mint tea can actually help you sleep better?

Mint tea is very refreshing and caffeine-free, so it definitely helps you wind down. But if you have chronic sleep issues, please check your thyroid levels too, as hormonal imbalances often affect sleep patterns.

Drinking warm herbal tea like mint before bed is a wonderful way to tell your mind that the day is done. It brings a gentle sense of peace. Try to drink it in silence without looking at your phone.

It works as a nice bedtime ritual because it relaxes your digestive system. I usually combine a warm cup of mint tea with a light 15-minute walk after dinner, and it helps me fall asleep much faster.

Mint tea is great because it has no caffeine and helps soothe any mild bloating or heavy feeling after dinner. A relaxed stomach always leads to better sleep, so it is a very safe option to try.

I used to have terrible sleep anxiety and tried mint tea. While it didn't solve my insomnia completely, the warm cup and the nice smell did make me feel a bit calmer. It's definitely worth a try!
