Does menopause cause fever?

Currently going through menopause, lately I've been experiencing these episodes where I feel unusually warm, almost like a low-grade fever, but my temperature is often normal. Could menopause itself be causing these 'feverish' sensations or hot flashes that feel like one?

Actually, menopause does not cause an actual medical fever with an elevated body temperature. My doctor explained that hot flashes can make you feel intensely hot and sweaty, which people often mistake for a fever. If you actually have a high thermometer reading, it could be an infection and you should see a doctor.

My mom went through this and used to feel super hot suddenly, but it wasn't a real fever. It was just those hot flashes. If you actually have a high temperature on a thermometer, it's probably viral, so get it checked by a doc.

Beta, at this age, the body's heat increases due to hormonal changes, which we call hot flashes. Drinking coconut water or a little buttermilk can help cool your system down naturally. But remember, if it is a real fever with shivering, you must visit a doctor.

Honestly, my aunt was always complaining about feeling feverish, but when we checked her temperature it was totally normal. It's just those annoying hot flashes from menopause making her feel like a furnace. If the temperature is actually high though, go to a clinic!

Menopause hot flashes can feel like a fever because of sudden sweating and heart rate spikes. Staying active with light cardio and eating a clean, vegetable-rich diet helped my clients manage these temperature fluctuations better. Still, check with a doctor if you have a real fever.

I see this query very often in our group. Women often confuse hot flashes and night sweats with a real fever. Keep a thermometer handy to check; if it's a real fever, please consult your physician, otherwise, talk to your gynecologist for hot flash relief.

Menopause causes hot flashes that make you feel very warm, but it doesn't cause a true fever. Please rest well, stay hydrated, and visit a doctor if your temperature is high.

I totally get it, feeling suddenly hot and sweaty can make you feel like you are coming down with a bad fever. It is most likely just hot flashes, which can be very exhausting and uncomfortable. Please take rest, drink cool water, and check with your gynecologist.
